Alderman Ford Park
Alderman Ford County Park has two different entrances on either side of route 39. On the west is the canoe launch access. On the east is the playground and most picnic tables. Both sides have plenty of parking and restrooms. Which side you choose to park on does not matter because the paved bicycle/walking/dog trail loop goes under the road twice to connect it all.
The path also crosses multiple rivers and tiny streams on wooden bridges. A long boardwalk loop complete with covered benches attaches to one side. Small side trails cut through the jungle. There are some great views of the river here.
